Lululemon presents excellent results again
Canadian Lululemon – the yoga inspired specialist apparel company – presents excellent results for both the past thirteen weeks (fiscal quarter) ended July 29, 2012 as well as for the twenty-six weeks (fiscal half year) ended the same day
For the fiscal second quarter the company reports a net revenue increase of 33 % to CND 282.6 (CND 212.3) million and sales increased by 15 % on a constant CND basis. Direct to consumer revenue increased 91 % to CND 35.4 million or 12.5 % (8.8 %) of total company revenues and net gross profit increased by 55.1 % (57.5 %). The income from operations increased 18 % to CNBD 70.2 million and reached 24.8 % (28.0 %) of net revenue. The gross profit amounted to CND 155.8 million.
For the fiscal half year the revenue increased 42 % to CND 568.3 (CND 399.1) million and comparable stores sales increased by 20 % on a constant CND basis. Direct to consumer revenue increased 228 % to USD 73.9 million and gross profit was CND 323.0 million (+35 %) and income from operations amounted to CND 143.3 million (+”29 %).
