Monforts offers new vertically guided stenter chains
Market requests led to the launching of the new heavy duty Hercules-V stenter chain and extends the range of Monforts chains
The newly introduced chain is particularly suited for knitted fabrics and has been designed for heavier weight knitted, nonwoven and technical textile applications. The chain is of extremely sturdy construction in grey cast iron with reinforced chain track (picture) and it operates with transverse forces up to 1500 N/m and running speeds up to 100 m/min and at temperatures up to 260 °C.
The new chain is of a maintenance-free design and offers an extremely long device life of the slide blocks. Depinning protection flaps are optionally also available.
