50 temporary Workers sought for Belgian Picanol
Picanol is in the process to hire 50 temporary workers for its plant in Ypres (B) in order to respond with flexibility to the cyclical demand for weaving machines and to cope with peak demand
Picanol Group is looking therefore for technicians and production labour, CNC-operators and deburrers (metal workers) and is offering around 25 other positions such as R&D Engineers, IT specialists, Service and Field Technicians and International Trainees (see website address below for details). Actually the Picanol Group employs 1230 persons in Ypres.
The group expects an increasing demand for Picanol weaving machines in the months ahead. The group is therefore confident for all of 2012. The half year results will be announce on August 28, 2012 and according to in-house information the group expects a decrease of turnover for this period in the range of that of the first quarter of 2012.
