Swiss bluesign technologies and its sustainability standard bluesign® for textile manufacturers but also of chemicals and textile machinery are making use of the system, also sports clothing and fashion brands

The bluesign® system partner network counts latest additions such as Italian La Sportiva S.p.A. (innovative footwear and apparel), American prAna (clothing for climbing and yoga; prana stands for Sanskrit and means breath, life and vitality.

On the certified list of chemical suppliers we newly find Dutch Tanatex Chemicals B.V. (solutions for pre-treatment, dyeing, printing, coating and finishing), German Zschimer & Schwarz Mohsdorf GmbH & Co KG, a member of family owned Zschimer & Schwarz group (chemicals and auxiliaries for textile applications) and German Freudenberg New Technologies KG, member of Freudenberg Group, and in its New Business Development department it produces and markets Purtex®-water-based polyurethanes for textile finishing and coating.

In the textile and accessories are the following manufacturers joined: Japanese Marusan-ai, member of Urase Group (dyeing and finishing of woven fabrics made of polyester, polyamide 6 and other fibres, South Korean Dong Jin International Corp., established in 1979 as manufacturer of nylon and polyester fabrics including CORDURA® and now a vertically textile company entailing weaving, scouring, dyeing, coating and inspecting high quality products and with subsidiaries in Seoul, Hong Kong and Los Angeles. The company manufactures for international brands. In Vietnam Nifco Vietnam, a member of the Japanese Nifco Group joined and the company specialises in plastic accessories such as buckles, buttons and snap buttons. Other new members are Turkish Tübas Tekstil originally producing acrylic hank yarn dyeing and nowadays also active in knitting, knitted fabric dyeing and finishing in a new plant in Cerkezöy/Tekirdag and dyeing and printing is effected near Istanbul and the third sites manufactures garments for export. Further German GasseKunert GmbH, a development partner and vertical manufacturer of functional and technical circular knitted textiles with own facilities for high qualitity dyeing and finishing. From China joined Nan Ya Draw Textured Yarn (Kunshan) Co., Ltd., member of the Nan Ya group, Taiwan. The site is vertically integrated for manufacturing various products containing polyester fibres and also dyeing and finishing operations (dyeing and finishing of knitted polyester fabrics and dyed polyester yarn) are forming a part of the Chinese site. There are also three new members from Taiwan, Shun Yuan Sportswear (functional warp & circular knitted fabrics made of polyester, wool, bamboo and its blends and laminated and bonded fabrics, ECO material, mesh & lining, quick dray, Coolmax® anti bacterial, Tactel® and body mapping, etc.; J&B International High Tech Textile & Garment Supply Co., Ltd. (high functional coating/lamination fabrics for sporting and outdoor activities, ranging from light weight, plain/twill stretch and soft shell to novelty fabrics such as wool-like, melange, cotton-like and slub, New Trend Textile Co., Ltd. founded 1990 in Taipei by Jason Chen and specialising in R&D and innovation of textiles and textile services for outdoor and sportswear and the core competence forms the R&D Team to design and source fabrics such as DuPont® fibres, recycled polyester, microfibers, cotton blends and multilayer laminated fabrics.

Further we wish to draw your attention to the fact that bluesign technologies hong kong Ltd. has been renamed to bluesign technologies (China) Ltd.
