Son of Picanol founder passes away
Belgian Emmanuel Steverlynck (89), former commercial manager and head of sales of Picañol weaving machines as well as second son of the company’s founder Charles Steverlynck (1888 – 1984) has passed away last Saturday.
Lastly Emmanuel Steverlynck was Honorary President of the Belgian Picanol Group and still connected with all stakeholders of the company group. He will be remembered for his commercial flair, his wit and his sense of humor and generations of customers and journalists will keep an excellent memory.

There will be a memorial service in the cathedral of St. Martin and St. Nicholas on Saturday, April 28 at 10:30 A.M. in Ypres, Belgium whereas the private funeral service will take place during this week.
