India is a good market for Italian textile machinery
ACIMIT, the Italian umbrella organisation of textile machinery manufacturers is organising from May 8 – 10, 2012 two workshops in India, namely in Mumbai and Ichalkaranji where representatives from some member companies (Canalair, CS Automazione, Fimat, Flainox, Itema, Jeggli Meccanotessile, Ptmt, Smit, Testa) will be presenting their latest innovations to the Indian textile industrialists
The workshop forms part of “Machines Italia in India” program financed by the Italian Ministry for Economic Development and it entrusted Federmacchine Group (Federation of Italian Manufacturers of Capital Goods) with the execution of its initiative aimed to support the internationalisation activities of this sector.
India is the world’s second largest market in terms of value for textile machinery and the imports total EUR 1.11 billion and Italian manufacturer exported textile machinery worth EUR 133 million (+19 %) in 2011 to India.
