Powerland is a symbol for bringing Chinese and Italian design concepts to perfection, a symbiosis between Italian classic handbag design and Chinese stylistic elements. Powerland has the meaning in Chinese to maintain the spirit of orchid and the company offers low-profile and affordable luxury in its crafted products.
When presenting its line designed by Franceso Turchi on the lively catwalk in China there was in the background a huge screen describing how a classic piece of handbag is made from scratch, choosing the material for hand sewing and further every step taken in respect for the European traditional craftsmanship and the heritage of luxury leather goods culture. Turchi – who has designed also international fashion brands – explained his design philosophy: I focus on value creation for people with class and taste and bring the combination of classic design and innovation in a new legendary piece of art work”. He does not only make use of genuine leather for his designed handbags but also a cotton line, exclusive buckles and hand sewing to make the products of exclusive luxury.
