Awards for value added textile technology

At the occasion of the latest 13th Chemnitz Textile Technology (CTT) conference (March 14-15, 2012) in Chemnitz, Cetex, the association of Chemnitz textile machinery development has bestowed two awards.

One went to Dr.-Ing. Holger Purol, head of production of xperion Aerospace GmbH, Immenstaad (D) for his dissertation at the University of Bremen (D) “The development of continue perform processes to manufacture winding CFK profile struts”. Antje Kübler from Technical University Chemnitz was awarded for her bachelor contribution “The influence of textile basic structures in a duroplastic matrix for fibre substance use”.

The conference attracted more than 250 international scientist and industry experts from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic and China to listen to around 50 speeches under the motto potential for value added textile technology.
