125 years of innovation for narrow textiles

Swiss narrow textile machinery specialist Jakob Müller, Frick will celebrate its 125th anniversary in September not looking back but looking ahead and presenting from September 9 – 12, 2012 the newest machinery at the Narrow Fabric Days and at its headquarter in Frick (CH). Also the 12th narrow Fabrics Conference will be held there on September 8, 2012

Since its foundation in 1887 there were three family CEO’s at the helm of Jakob Müller until 1992 and also the actual CEO and Chairman of the Board Christian Kuoni has family ties and he will be succeeded in 2013 as CEO by the actual member of the top management Martin Buyle. Kuoni will continue to serve as Chairman.

After opening of the first manufacturing plant in 1997 in China a new work will be opened in June 2012 in Suzhou and visitors attending ITMA Asia + CITME will have an opportunity to visit the new plant. At the existing plant around a thousand machines yearly are manufactured and destined for the Chinese market. In addition Raschelina warp knitting machines are exclusively manufactured there and globally shipped to customers, the same goes for VARITEX weaving looms serving China as well as other Asian markets.
