AG Cilander (Swiss innovative finishing and coating solutions for clothing and Technical Textiles) has installed a unique titan plant with 360 cm working width and to ennoble filigree and heavy textiles
The new titan plant allows to incorporate three part processes (laundering, impregnating and drying) to be unified in one step with accompanying optimised time (halving) and energy resources thanks to a continue operation leading also to shorter delivery times. The sizeable plant needs only one operator (but highly qualified) thanks to a central steering and high grade automation.
The management considers the new high tech titan plant as the right answer to meet the steadily higher requirements regarding the mastering and reproduction of all processes, higher productivity and energy efficiency (+ 30 – 40 %). The plant serves as backbone of the cooperation with Stieger Group and to enhance the sector of Technical Textiles. It reduces water consumption and disposes of a highly insulated stenter and the drying process has a direct gas heating and integrated heat recovery system. Swiss Benninger is responsible for the laundry part und German Brückner Group delivered the stenter and acted as system partner.
