The Cotton Council International (CCI) the export promotional arm of the National Cotton Council has a new elected president

The up to now first vice president James L. Webb, a cotton farmer from Leary, Georgia (USA) has been elected at the 74th annual meeting taking place recently. He succeeds John D. Mitchell, a merchant from Titus, Alabama who will newly serve the CCI board as chairman.

In the election process also the following persons were elected as CCI officers; John Burch as first vice president, Jordan Lea as second vice president and for Treasurer Dahlen K. Hancock was named. Re-elected as Secretary was Mark D. Lange and Kevin Latner became Assistant secretary whereas Michael D. (Mike) Alexander serves as CCI director.
