Joining UN strategic policy initiative
DyStar, the textile coloration and textile chemicals specialist has recently joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), a strategic policy initiative committing its members to align and adapt their operations and strategies to ten universally accepted principles
The principles entail human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption to help to ensure that markets, trade, technology and finance are enhanced beneficially to global economies and societies. DyStar sees this move as a further step to strengthen its existing efforts to become a sustainability leader in its fields of activity. The company is a founding System Partner of bluesign® standards, a member of the Sustainable Apparel Coalition and Textile Exchange and follows the principles of SA 8000 standards for Social Accountability.
