New CEO for Swiss Sanitized AG

Swiss Sanitized AG – according to in-house information the leading worldwide producer of antimicrobial hygiene products and material protection of textiles and plastics – has a new CEO.

Sanitized’s previous CEO and owner Niklaus J. Lüthi will remain with the company as chairman of the board of directors. The new CEO becomes Urs Stalder up to now member of the executive management team and marketing manager (this position he will continue additionally to his new post), he is with the company over 20 years.

He intends to open up new market segments in technical applications such as air conditioning and ventilation as well as in the medical and food area. As head of marketing he launched innovative products internationally and developed Sanitized® into a highly valued, internationally licensed brand with a high degree of credibility. Major manufacturers of textiles and plastics such as The North Face, Levi’s, Marks and Spencer, Tarkett, Franke Kitchen Systems or Airex use the Brand Sanitized® as a seal of quality for the integrated hygiene function additionally to their own logo. The logo is placed on products, displayed at POS and non packaging to make the hygiene function comprehensive. However Sanitized is not only developing products but rather solutions for the challenges its customers have to meet and it offers extended test services and guidance on regulatory issues as well as marketing support. Sustainability has a prominent place since a long time and prior to market awareness and the responsible handling of resources will be of a high future priority for the newly formed management team.

The newest innovations will be presented to an international technical public from May 8 to 12 at Plast 2012 in Milano (I) the international plastics trade fair.
