After political defeat more business oriented
Only a short while Jon Huntsman (51) and former U.S. Ambassador to China and former Governor of Utah has been running for the U.S. Presidency but because of discouraging results he dropped out of the race
Since February 1, 2012 he was appointed to the family chemical business Huntsman Corporation (quoted at the New York Stock Exchange) as a new director to the Board of Directors. He has served in eminent institutions such as the Broookings Institute Asia Policy Board, the Center for Strategic and International Studies Pacific Forum, the Asia Society in New York and the National Bureau of Asian Research. He has lived four times in China and speaks fluently Mandarin. He has been holding in the past other senior global positions and on other corporate boards and has formerly also served as Vice Chairman of Huntsman.
