Keen interest for adhesive activities on the block
As already indicated last Monday, Forbo is disposed to divest also the building and construction adhesives activity whereas the industrial adhesive activities were going to H.B. Fuller
The company is now happy to report that there is a keen interest by several parties for the building and construction adhesives being on the block. In 2010 the Bonding Systems Division, including industrial adhesives, synthetic polymers as well as building and construction adhesives posted sales of CHF 606.6 million and CHF 107.3 million derived from building and construction adhesives (300 employees).
The divestment talks are at an early stage with complete open outcome and the Forbo (manufacturer of floor coverings, adhesives, power transmission and conveyor belts solutions) will inform during the next months to come if the outcome of the talks were successful.
