Profitable Inditex business
Spanish worldwide active clothier Inditex (Zara plus other seven labels) presents excellent nine months results.
The world’s largest fashion retailer Inditex could increase profit by 10% for the nine months ended October 31, 2011 or from EUR 1.18 billion to EUR 1.3 billion. Especially the Asian markets performed very well and there were 79 new stores opened in China bringing the total to 250 sales points in 42 Chinese cities. New stores were also added in Taiwan and Azerbaijan. Inditex operates a total of 5’400 stores worldwide and opened 358 stores so far in 2011.
