Good results for Oerlikon Textile
Oerlikon Textile (CH) – a division of Oerlikon Group – presents good nine monthly results: Turnover increased in comparison with the same period 2010 by 34 % to CHF 1484 million (CHF1111 million) deriving mainly from Oerlikon Barmag and Oerlikon Schlafhorst and demand for man-made fibres and new product launches. Order intake was however with CHF 1610 million (CHF 1787 million) ten percent lower but orders on log with a heavy weight from Barmag were 11 % up to CHF 1’212 million (CHF 1088 million).
It has to be added that Indian Noman Textile Group has placed an order for 18 new Autocoro 8 machines with total integrated automation to increase productivity and the long standing customer Parkdale bestowed Oerlikon Textile with the title “Vendor of the Year 2011”.
