As part of AATCC’s upcoming 2020 International Conference, there is a limited opportunity to visit Clemson University’s world-renowned ICAR facility on March 10. This one-time, pre-conference tour will centre on innovation, research, and developments in automotive and transportation technology, including:

• A tour of the facility’s research labs for manufacturing equipment, engine dyno rooms, the Connected and Autonomous Vehicles Lab, and concept cars built by automotive engineering students
• A discussion led by Dr. Saeed Farahani, Research Fellow/Manufacturing Engineering, CU-ICAR, covering:
- Research being conducted to bring intelligence into manufacturing of composites and plastics
- Clemson’s Composites Center introduction
Transportation will be provided to and from the Hyatt/CU-ICAR.
Deadline for registering for the tour is February 25 and includes a separate registration fee of $25. Those attending the ICAR tour must be registered to attend the IC in order to participate. Spots are restricted and reserved on a first come, first served basis.
