Old Navy’s annual flip flop sale returns days before summer officially began June 15, 2019.

The “One Dolla Balla Flip Flop Sale” is Saturday, June 15, and select styles of the popular footwear are USD 1 a pair in solid colours in-store and online. The flip flops usually cost USD 3.99.

There is a limit of 10 pairs per customer in stores and five pairs per transaction online, while supplies last. With a USD 24 purchase, get a free pair through noon local time in-store and through noon PT Saturday online.

This year, there is also a chance to win money and prizes with a Flip Flop Hunt Game and USD 24K Sweepstakes. The grand prize is USD 24000, and other prizes include USD 24 coupons and 24 % off codes.

A select number of golden flip flops will be hidden throughout every Old Navy store, depending on store size, and throughout the website. Most stores will have five golden flip flops, but some will have seven or 10.

In-store contest tips – Here are some tips for finding the golden flip flop:

  • Search at eye level.
  • Look around the entire store. The Golden Flip Flops can pop up anywhere.
  • Don’t search in the flip flop section. The Golden Flip Flop is not a wearable shoe.
  • Don’t dig through folded product. It won’t be in there or in bins.

The contest official rules spell out how many flip flops are hidden by store and if you find a golden flip flop to bring it to a store associate. Only one member of each household can participate in the contest, the rules state.

Many locations will have special hours Saturday and flip flop fans are expected to flock to stores early so plan accordingly. The USD 1 flip flops are not available on in-store pickup orders.

Old Navy started the annual sale in 2005, and it is one of the discount retailer’s most anticipated sales of the year.
