Metalbottoni starts again from Europe and presents the innovation of the GRAVITA line

Metalbottoni starts again from Europe and presents the innovation of the GRAVITA line, to re-invent accessories for sportswear and denim

The Italian company landed at Munich Fabric Start (Sept. 5-7) and will land at PV Accessories Paris (Sept. 19-21) with a precise objective: focusing on export and product innovation with GRAVITA, the line entirely dedicated to pressure buttons, re-engineering its classics to build a more and more consumer- friendly accessory.

The autumn news for Metalbottoni autumn peaks with a new strategic path that places at its very centre values and quality of Made In Italy, aiming at improving exports, and revamping them through continuous innovation especially on the European market. The crown jewel of this strategy is the new collection GRAVITA, the first that the company entirely dedicates to the world of pressure buttons.

Starting from a strategic proposal aimed at a more efficient penetration of several selected European markets, the goal is to support the continuous export growth, today exceeding 60 % of the whole company sales volume.

France, Spain, Germany, Benelux and Scandinavian countries; these are the countries on which the Italian company has decided to invest important resources both in terms of product innovation and human resources, with a commercial team that keeps growing.

It is the continuous process and product restyling that guides Metalbottoni’s approach to new season, tracing the direction for an authentic path, starting from accessories’ origin to reinvent and ameliorate it. Re-engineering the great classics and designing a sustainable future: these are the two pillars guiding the creation of the new F/W 2018-19 collection, protagonists of the two European fairs Munich Fabric Start and Première Vision Accessories.

For the German show, that is becoming more and more a point of reference for the European trade market, Metalbottoni has been selected as exhibitor also for the exclusive BLUEZONE, the independent concept- area created by MFS to highlight the best proposals for sportswear and denim, expanded for this edition with a second pavilion, showcasing 100 international selected suppliers.

The latest news at Metalbottoni, in fact, revolves decisively around product innovation, completed starting from evergreen accessories, looking at sportswear and to the most innovative fashion as a natural target.

The brand-new GRAVITA line, the first collection entirely dedicated to pressure buttons, to lead Metalbottoni’s offer, presenting for the new season a wider range of solutions that once again has been improved thanks to the numerous highly customizable projects and sub-parts, creating a perfect mix between fashion and sportswear elements, where innovations come directly from the creativity of the internal R&D company department.

GRAVITA brings the pressure buttons to a new dimension, enhancing as never before the aesthetic aspect of a product that has always been very technical, thus producing a unique mélange of fashion and sportswear elements and, in doing so, restyling

a new frontier for this accessory.

Monster

The MONSTER collection presents some novelties as well, for the line that is dedicated to denim and vintage but also to classic and luxury, renewed every season with proposals in line with the latest trends, starting this year with sport accessories icons from ’80 s and ‘90s, for a unique match between vintage and total custom. The anti-fashion of the past becomes the new cool, enriching the western style with traces of postmodern global nomadism.

Moreover, the LABORA line, dedicated to pure fashion and casual, offers new solutions characterized by clear-cut and minimal lines, with finishing designed to shine the spotlight on details, polished forms and lines resulting in elegant and refined finishing, looking back at the past as a never-ending source of inspiration.

Finally there are green innovations, the second pillar guiding the continuous research process in Metalbottoni.

Besides the “No Impact” protocol, activated in 2011 that today involves almost all the aspects of production and not only at Metalbottoni (which does not use synthetic chemical products and whose production cycles have a low environmental impact, reducing CO2 emissions, obtaining energy from a photovoltaic plant which provides at least 45% of its energy requirements combined with water saving steps), over the past few months the Italian company has completed two important projects dedicated to re-using and re-cycling production materials.

-> The exclusive collaborationwiththe Swedish Redew8 brand, which will introduce jeans manufactured completely with eco-sustainable materials and processes and for which Metalbottoni has developed a button made of pure copper, produced by reusing manufacturing off cuts, with no galvanic or other chemical processing, thus resulting in a product which is extremely innovative and can be 100 % recycled.

-> Another important recycling project is the partnership with the non-profit making organization for community work “Project Quid” which specializes in recycling and reusing materials; a brand which utilizes only materials donated to it, and which employs disadvantaged persons socially or otherwise. Metalbottoni is a proud partner of “Project Quid”, both for the supplying of materials and for creative support on product development.

“It is more and more important to try and integrate creativity with real sustainable innovation. This unique match between the ability to re-interpret the origin of accessory and responsible production processes is the real difference that European consumers are asking for”, says Gregorio Valli, CEO and President of Metalbottoni S.P.A – “A change that thanks to our abilities and to the path we’ve taken in recent years, we have fully developed, from process to product”.
