Revised data by ITMF on textile machinery shipment statistics published May 30, 2018

Due to new data and information received after publication of the 40th International Textile Machinery Shipment Statistics (ITMSS 2017) last month, the International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF) has revised its statistics for the year 2017. The changes are summarised below (at world level).

Note: The percentages under “Original growth” were reported in the ITMSS press release in May. The percentages under the “Revised growth” are calculated on the updated data. The figures for finishing in the May press release included a reporting error.
