Federal Councillor Karin Keller-Sutter, Head of the Federal Department of Finance FDF, has appointed René Lenzin as her new personal assistant. René Lenzin, born in 1960, has been working at BKW AG since 2019, where he has been responsible for the company’s media and political work as Head of News, Media and Public Affairs since 2021. Prior to that, he held a senior position in the Communications Section of the Federal Chancellery and worked as a journalist for over 20 years, including as deputy head of the domestic editorial unit and Federal Palace correspondent for the Tages-Anzeiger and as Federal Palace editor for the St. Galler Tagblatt. He studied general history, French and German literature at the University of Zurich, where he obtained his doctorate in 1998.

René Lenzin will succeed Romain Clivaz, who wishes to stop working as a personal assistant and take his career in a new direction after more than four years in the Federal Department of Justice and Police and in the FDF. Federal Councillor Keller-Sutter would like to thank Romain Clivaz for his commitment and wish him every success in his future career.
