The Producer and Import Price Index increased in March 2023 by 0.2 % compared with the previous month, reaching 109.3 points (December 2020 = 100). Food products in particular were more expensive. Other transport equipment, vegetables, melons and potatoes, leather and related products, green coffee, computers and wearing apparel also became more expensive. In contrast, prices for petroleum products, non-ferrous metals and products made therefrom, petroleum and natural gas as well as processed steel fell.
