Delta Air Lines takes up scheduled flights between Geneva (CH) and New York (USA)

Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) is returning after more than 30 years with a seasonal non-stop connection between Geneva (GVA) and New York (JFK). This line will join the important business and off time metropole city of Geneva with Deltas Hub JFK. The scheduled flights will be offered daily and is thought to add to the daily connection from Zurich to New York, this in a manner that customers have now the choice between two daily scheduled flight from Switzerland to the USA.

With the take-up of Geneva in the flight net of Delta Air Lines the airline is connecting the 10 foremost European business travel destinations non-stop with New York. As leading air line in New York the new scheduled flights customers will enjoy seamless connectivity through Delta’s JFK hub to more than 65 destinations throughout North America. Delta’s new Geneva route is part of the largest transatlantic flight schedule to date, which includes nearly 620 weekly flights from 32 EMEA markets to 11 US airports. “This is a special moment for the Delta team as we add an important new metropolis to our route network with the resumption of non-stop service to Geneva,” said Nicolas Ferri, vice president, Europe, Middle East, Africa and India (EMEAI ) at Delta Air Lines. “This route serves an important dual purpose, for both business and leisure travel. This summer, Delta will operate 14 weekly flights between Switzerland and the United States, with daily flights from Geneva and Zurich. Delta is a member of the SkyTeam alliance.
