MDCP Application Guidance Webinars

Are you a non-profit? Through an annual competition, the International Trade Administration (ITA) selects a limited number of U.S. non-profit organizations to receive Market Development Cooperator Program (MDCP) awards. A recipient gets up to $300,000, matched two-to-one by its own resources, to pursue a 3-5-year project designed to remove trade barriers and help U.S. firms to export.
Come learn about policy efforts in China’s 2nd and 3rd tier cities to decarbonize industries. Market Focus: Advanced Manufacturing in Taiwan
Taiwan has a very complete ecosystem of machine tools and components. Taiwan’s machinery and machine tools industries are export oriented. However, Taiwan also imports a significant amount of machinery products. Imports from the United States totaled US$10.8 billion, accounting for 19 percent of total imports (2021 figures).
American companies interested in the Taiwanese market are encouraged to reach out to the U.S. Commercial Service in Taiwan to explore specific opportunities.

Held in Taipei, TIMTOS, March 6-11 (and through April 6 virtually) is the largest machinery and machine tool trade show in Taiwan and the third largest in the world. The U.S. Commercial Service organizes a US Pavilion at the event.
