In 4th quarter 2022, the total employment (number of jobs) rose by 2.3 % in comparison with the same quarter a year earlier (seasonally adjusted, +0.7 % compared with the previous quarter). In terms of full-time equivalents, this was an increase of 2.4 %. Companies reported a total of 18700 (+18.1 %) more vacancies than a year earlier and the employment outlook indicator also continued to point upwards (+1.2 %). These are some of the latest findings from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
